I attended there after finishing up at a 2-year college, and while the rest of the campus itself is great with so many activities and wonderfully helpful instructors, despite what they tell you the theatre department is anything but nice or friendly. They know how to keep up appearances, they lie to everyone and cast their favorites in all of their plays leaving the underdog unnoticed and discouraged. Dell McClain is notorious for this and everyone in the theatre department knows it, they don't care. Too much drama and narcissism among the theater majors, too. I know a bunch of people who left the department and changed their majors because of their experiences. My experiences with this college department ruined my whole college experience, many bad memories and emotional baggage. Unless you can get along with literally anyone, chug down your weight in alcohol, and smoke a lot of weed SOSU theatre is not worth it
Good school with reasonable tuition. Good teachers who educate and test you, not just give you a grade. Smaller classes = more professor availability.
Great school from what I saw. The president seems so kind and welcomed the Remote Area Medical team with open arms. Look forward to another clinic in the future.
Worst international office in the America. It is like the people who work at the international admission don't want any new international student. They will never answer the email or the phone and they will make you regret the day you applied. this happened with me and with 2 other friends.
