I took my 3 month old puppy in for a set of rabies shots and they mixed up the paperwork and gave him the medication intended for a 1 year old 60 lbs lab mix. Genius.
I will still bring my animals here when i move to Dallas!!!!! There is none better in my opinion! Savannah is amazing!
Two stars for Dr. Mills because he is knowledgeable. Otherwise this place would be one star all they way. As a matter of fact seeing him was the only time something actually got done for our pets and/ or they got a diagnosis that actually fixed the problem. They punish you if you exercise your federal law backed right to find your prescriptions elsewhere for far less by charging you a prescription fee and don't bother to tell you about it till it's time to refill. I've never been to a doctor that charged me for a prescription, ever. There's one vet tech that has an attitude from hell. The place is chaotic with everyone crowding the desk and always a 2 hour wait anyway. Tried taking their advice once to call ahead for refills and it wasn't ready anyway. Also, always keep your receipts here because their system sucks. Thanks for the push to find a new vet and I hope it was worth 15 bucks to lose a customer who has paid you thousands over the last couple years.
If you want vets that care about your animals and not the money this is the 4cplace to go they always take great care of all my babies!!

This place was recommended by a co worker who breeds bulldogs and told me he is where I need to go. I was looking for a new vet because the vets at Banfield Pet Hospital inside of Petsmarts don't care about your animals and are only out to get your money. A vet a Banfield told me that my 5 year old English Bulldog had very bad eye problems, ear problems and hip problems. They tried to force me to pay over $2K in surgeries. I reached out to a few vets in the Dallas Metroplex area and was advised Banfield may be trying to scam me. I went to see Dr. Mills in Durant, OK and was told my suspicions were correct. My dog had an ear infection, needed some eye drops due to mild mucus build up and has patella luxation in his rear leg which cannot be surgically fixed on a 62LB Bully. Instead of paying $2k or more in surgeries, All I paid was $165 in medicine and My bully is now perfectly healthy. Only reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 is because they get realllllly busy and it is hard to call in over the phone to reorder supplies. Well worth the 2 hour drive to come see dr. mills.
It'd be real nice if someone would answer the phone.
