Dunno if it's lazyness or cheapness
The apartments are nice but a little over priced for the area and extremely over priced for the lack of care and attention by the new management staff! If you need them after hours, they instructed the answering service to only contact them in the case of "fire, flood or blood"! I would not recommend this place just because of the uncaring, arrogant staff! The old staff was amazing! The future does not look bright at high meadow!
I currently live here. The apartments are big and spacious inside. From conversations with other tenants, the apartments are under new management. This management is causing this apartment community to go downhill and quick. The lawns are never well kept and mowed. There is always trash all through the parking lot and across the playground and other grass areas, and there is no one picking it up. The property is not well maintained- this new mgmnt is more concerned with saving the money rather than paying to properly keep the property aesthetically pleasing. The pool has been out of order for over a week now. The office said they got the pump motor in mid-week last week and when they "got around to it, it would be fixed." I would not recommend this property to anyone. We had considered signing another lease after our original was up, but we will be moving as soon as we can!
I live at high meadow for a year and enjoyed every bit of it. the property was always kept clean and the staff were ALWAYS nice. i never had a problem with college kids or noise. i had to move to a different state but actually wish i still lived there.
But will turn into a straight up dump soon with how well it's being turned around between tenants
Being one of the better apartments In durant seems to be how high they set the bar which isn't very high at all
not prepped for move in very well everything was dirty, a few things broken, not really a great feeling about the place over all.
