I took my car in because it has been having issues lately. When I start it it bogs down and dies and anytime I put gas in the car it will not start, I have to sit at the pump with my foot to the floor for about 3 minutes before it will stay running.
These guys worked so hard to get me fixed and on the street again. It felt like driving into my families garage and getting all the expert service I could ask for!
These guys here r the most helpful& sweets guys around. They know their stuff. They go beyond to help. Thanks guys
I am VERY displeased and DISGUSTED at the way they did business with me.
I took it to Bob's and told them all of this. He called and said what was wrong with it and I asked for an estimate before he did the work. I never got a call back with an estimate went to pick it up and SURPRISE its $475. I would not have invested that much money in the car had I know it would have been that much. I would have told him not to fix it. I look at my receipt and he had charged me $196.95 for spark plugs and wires.... THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE REPLACED (replaced them a year ago if that they were perfectly good!) And on top of all this he didn't even fix the problem I took it in for! I went back to talk to them about it and also inquired about the spark plugs. He said well I wish you had told me you just replaced them..... UMMM so you just replaced them for the hell of it?? I left the car thinking they would make it right and fix the problem. I went two days with no call; I called to see what was going on and an employee told me what the problem was and it was going to be another $150 and asked me if I would like them to go ahead and replace it. I said I wanted to talk to the owner. Owner finally calls back and proceeded to tell me he didn't know if that would fix the problem or not. WTF!!! You were down and ready to charge me another $150 and you weren't even sure if that was what was wrong with it?!?!?!
This was absolutely the worst experience and I will NEVER go back to them or recommend anyone use them. I was taken advantage of and feel like this man is nothing short of a crook!
My family and I have used Bob's Garage for years and never had a bad experience. We use Bob's a couple of times of year to repair miscellaneous things on our shop trucks. The service is always fast and honest.
